ESPKU have produced infographics to make PKU guidelines more accessible.
NSPKU is pleased to share the publication of European PKU Guidelines at a Glance, a comprehensive collection of 11 evidence-based infographics designed to make the latest European PKU Guidelines for the diagnosis and management of Phenylketonuria (PKU) more accessible and easier to implement in everyday practice. The European PKU Guidelines are supported by the ESPKU (European Society for Phenylketonuria).
Recognising the importance of ensuring these recommendations reach the PKU community as quickly as possible, E.S.PKU shared with NSPKU access to the infographic collection. To further support the dissemination of the infographics E.S.PKU has also launched a dedicated social media campaign. Infographic have been presented individually across our communication channels, highlighting one topic at a time and encouraging discussion around evidence- based PKU care. Through this campaign, we hope to increase awareness of the Guidelines and promote their use among healthcare professionals, patient organisations and the wider PKU community.
Ultimately, the value of clinical guidelines lies not only in their publication but in their implementation. By making evidence-based recommendations easier to understand and apply, European PKU Guidelines at a Glance provides a practical resource to support more consistent, high-quality PKU care across Europe.
