On Sunday the 15th September 2024 the PKU community will come together to take part in races around the UK to fundraise £10,000 for the NSPKU. Whether you are a gentle jogger or could give Mo Farah a run for his money, we are encouraging everyone to take part in this national fundraiser.

Where will the races take place?

We have distances suitable for all abilities in several locations across the UK.

How do I sign up?

  1. Enter the race of your choice on the race website (see links above) to secure your place. Upon registration, if the NSPKU is not listed as a charity on the race page, choose the option 'not running for a charity'. You will still be able to fundraise for the NSPKU through our JustGiving Campaign page.
  2. Fill in our online form to let us know you are running. We will then be in touch with full details on how to set up your fundraising page and send you your NSPKU race t-shirt!
  3. Entries for the races are selling fast!  Act soon to secure your place and start fundraising.

How much do I have to raise?

There is no minimum fundraising target. Every donation is gratefully received by the NSPKU, which goes towards supporting the work we do to improve the lives of people living with PKU across the UK.

Who can take part?

This event is open to anyone! Runners will include people with PKU themselves, their family members, friends, colleagues, and anyone who wants to help us reach our fundraising goal to support the NSPKU.

I am not a runner! How can I support this campaign?

Our runners will need as much encouragement as possible to get them over the finish line! Please get in touch if you would like to come and support us in person at one of our races. You can also support our Race to £10K by making a donation on our Just Giving page and helping us achieve our ambitious fundraising target.
